Summer fun doesn’t need to be expensive! Check out an Onondaga County Parks pass and make the most of the outdoors this summer!
Each NOPL location has two passes that give you free admission to any of the parks listed below, available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Fees for other programs or activities at the parks are not covered by the pass.)

Please note, passes can’t be held, but you can check on the availability of the passes here.
Park Passes can be used at:
- Beaver Lake Nature Center (one personal vehicle – present the pass at the front desk)
- Jamesville Beach Park (one personal vehicle – present the pass at the ticket booth)
- Oneida Shores Park (one personal vehicle – present the pass at the ticket booth)
- Pratt’s Falls Park (up to four visitors)
- Rosamond Gifford Zoo (up to four visitors – present the pass at the front desk)
(Carpenter’s Brook Fish Hatchery, Highland Forest Park, and Onondaga Lake Park do not charge admission.
Oneida Shores Park charges admission during beach season only.)
Park Pass Rules
- Available for three-day loan, no renewals
- Non-holdable, non-renewable
- 1 pass per library card
- Must be 18 years or older to borrow
- Passes must be picked up at the library and returned in person
- Lost pass fee is $65
- Overdue fine is $2 per day for passes borrowed at NOPL
