We are pleased to provide EV Charging Stations at all of our locations. While your vehicle is charging, we invite you to make the most of your downtime by exploring everything the library has to offer—browse and borrow materials, ask a reference question, make copies or scans, use a computer, or check out upcoming events and programs—all while your car powers up.

Charging Is Easy!

HOW TO USE THE EV CHARGING STATIONS:

1. Find a Station: Locate the charging stations the parking areas at our Brewerton, Cicero and North Syracuse locations.
2. Set up Payment: Download the ChargeHub app on your smartphone and add funds to the wallet (minimum $10), or use an RFID card. Pay for the session through the ChargeHub app or with your RFID card.

3. Plug in Your Vehicle: Connect your vehicle to the charging station using the provided cable. Make sure the connection is secure.
4. Start Charging: Use the ChargeHub app or your RFID card to begin charging. The station will display your charging status and estimated time.
5. Track Your Session: Check the app to monitor progress. You will receive a notification when your vehicle finishes charging or if an issue occurs.
6. End Your Session: When charging is complete, unplug the cable and return it to the station. End the session in the app or with your RFID card. If the cable won’t detach, unlock your vehicle first. Ask a staff member if you need help.
