We are pleased to provide EV Charging Stations at all of our locations. While your vehicle is charging, we invite you to make the most of your downtime by exploring everything the library has to offer—browse and borrow materials, ask a reference question, make copies or scans, use a computer, or check out upcoming events and programs—all while your car powers up.

Charging Is Easy!

HOW TO USE THE EV CHARGING STATIONS:

1. Locate the Station: You will find the charging stations conveniently placed in our parking areas at our Brewerton, Cicero and North Syracuse locations.
2. Activate Charging: Download the ChargeHub app on your smartphone and add funds to the wallet (minimum $10). You can also use an RFID card. Drivers pay for their charge through the ChargeHub app or their RFID card.

3. Plug In: Connect your vehicle to the charging station using the provided cable. Ensure it is securely attached.
4. Start Charging: Use the ChargeHub app or your RFID card to start the charging process. The station will display the charging status and estimated time.
5. Monitor Progress: You can monitor the charging progress on the app, which will notify you when your vehicle is fully charged or if there are any issues.
6. Complete the Session: Once your vehicle is charged, unplug the cable, return it to the station, and make sure to end the session on the app or with your RFID card. You may need to unlock your vehicle in order for the charging cable to detach. Ask a staff member if you need assistance.
