What do you do at Maker Club?
We make things! At each session we’ll focus on a different DIY.org skill area (cardboard, Perler beads, tape, mechanical engineering, and more). You’ll be able to choose from suggested projects or come up with your own. You can also get ideas for more things to make at home, work together on ideas, help brainstorm future Club projects, and show off your work!
Who is Maker Club for? Children and teens ages 7 and up. With that in mind, children 10 and under will need help with the projects and must be accompanied by an adult. In Maker Club, we use real tools, some of which are sharp or hot – Maker Club projects are not appropriate for preschoolers.
Nope! DIY.org is just one way to share your work with others and ask questions. You don’t need to sign up if you don’t want to.
No, and no. You can come to as many or as few sessions as you want, and stay for a short time or for the whole two hours.
