Give Yoga a Try.
Many people think of Yoga as an exercise regimen or as a meditation practice. Yoga can be either of these but it can also be much more. Over the past 20 years in the US, this activity has moved from way out on the fringe into the mainstream. If you haven’t tried yoga, aren’t you curious about it?
NOPL @ North Syracuse is offering sessions at the library: there’s no cost, no walls of mirrors, no prerequisite fitness level or performance expectations. Everyone belongs, especially beginners who have never identified with the hyper-flexible people posing in yoga pictures. Please bring your own yoga mat; there will also be a limited number available to purchase for $15 courtesy of ‘Yoga with Linda.’
A certified Yoga instructor, Linda Haverlock, will be at the North Syracuse Library for five consecutive Saturdays. For more information about the instructor, please visit www.yogawithlindah.com
Registration is required for each class. Space is limited, so sign up early.
