Gale Health & Wellness Resource Center & Alternative Health Module - Contains magazines, journals, newspapers, definitions, directories, and information on health and fitness, prescription drugs, herbal remedies, and alternative or complementary treatments. Gale Health Reference Center Academic - Health and medical information from journals, pamphlets and medical reference books Gale Junior Edition K - 12 - A general interest database for middle school students with information from magazine and newspaper articles, reference books and maps. Gale National Newspaper Index - Offers indexing and abstracts from 1977 to present for the Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post. LearningExpress Library - Interactive online practice for academic and licensing tests including ACT, ASVAB, GED, SAT and more. NewsBank - Full text access to the Syracuse Newspapers from 1986 to present. It also includes Rochester and Utica newspapers ReferenceUSA - Business and residential phone numbers, addresses and other detailed information. The NOPL libraries have purchased additional databases that are available to all NOPL patrons. A library card and PIN are required.
